I was hoping that I would get stuck in Boise because of the weather, but how "pleasantly" surprised I was when I woke up to a bright, sunny sky. For those who know me well, I am a little bit anal about being on time. So my flight to Salt Lake was supposed to leave at 6:55, so I arrived at 5:30, only to find out that my flight was delayed. . . Anyways, I guess I got what I wanted, even if it wasn't "exactly" what I wanted :) Since I have an hour or two to spare, I thought I would update my blog!
I only got two days off of school, Christmas day, and the day after. So I got to come visit my family for a grand total of four days. Which actually was just right. I think if I would have had two weeks home, I probably would have ended up doing something rash. But it was nice to see my sister and brothers, and especially my mom and dad. I hadn't seen any of them since I left in November, which doesn't SEEM like a long time, but for someone who is incredibly close to their family, it's been pretty rough. Christmas was a lot better than last year. . . not hard to do though, considering all the events that happened. But it was really wonderful to see how everyone has changed, mostly for the better. I still worry and care about what choices the boys will make. . . I still feel responsible for so many of the mishaps of our family, but I know that someday, we will all be an eternal family. I love them all so much.
Ah, this is a little scatterbrained, I am listening to my ipod while typing. . . I guess I'm not as good at multitasking as I'd like to think I am! :)
I just wanted to express how much I love my family. I know I feel like mine is a little chaotic at times, but we all love eachother, and that is what is the most important. I miss them like crazy when they aren't around, no matter how crazy they are! Okay, my flight is going to leave soon, but I'll keep this updated! Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year! :)
